Second Skin is an Australian company that has been manufacturing custom made medical devices for over 35years. Second Skin consults with clients, families, therapists and medical practitioners to prescribe, manufacture and supply custom made Compression Garments and Dynamic Splints. Our custom made Compression Garments are prescribed for paediatric and adult clients with burns, traumatic injuries, lymphoedema, and a broad range of other medical conditions. Our Dynamic Splints are prescribed for the splinting management of children and adults with neurological conditions - for clients with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, cerebrovascular accident (CVA/stroke), autistic spectrum disorders and congenital abnormalities. Second Skin is an approved NDIS provider.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
