About

Not just a home, a lifestyle. We provide luxurious Specialist Disability Accommodation throughout Australia, in vibrant, well-connected communities… because your home should also offer you a lifestyle. Our brand new homes, apartments and villas are thoughtfully designed for participants requiring a variety of supportive residential living and your journey with us does not stop there. When you sign a lease for a Vera Living property, you are not just moving into a beautiful home, you are gaining access to the Vera Lifestyle. People first. Always: People are at the heart of everything we do. So we put them first, always. Every action is founded on connection, trust and integrity. This is how we build a great team, deliver fit for purpose homes and truly support people with disabilities. Building belonging: A home is so much more than four walls and a roof; it is a place to belong and connect to community. We build spaces that strengthen and contribute to the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard and valued. Be real, be honest: Every action has an impact, so we act with respect, honesty and intention. We hold ourselves and each other accountable, in our work and in our relationships, to create enduring connections. Continuously learning and evolving: Stagnation is the enemy of excellence. It is our challenge as leaders to continually innovate through forward-thinking and human-centric design. We embrace change through a commitment to adaptability and creativity. We listen, learn and work together to excel.

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

To learn more visit https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/am-i-eligible

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS can be difficult to navigate, it's important that you prepare and seek out assistance during your application process.

For more details, see our step by step guide by visting https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/how-apply.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
